I'm an industry veteran with 20 years of experience in feature film, animation and, the most recent addition, game technology. I received a BFA in Animation from Brigham Young University where I gained my first experience in student Emmy award winning animated short films, "Petshop," "Noggin," and "Las Pinatas" of which I was the art director. I moved onto the visual effects industry shortly after where I began my professional career with Digital Domain working on films including Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Tron:Legacy among others. I've since worked Rhythm & Hues, Industrial Light & Magic, Disney Feature Animation, Macrograph (Korea) and Rising Sun Pictures. I recently made the move over to the game industry working for Warner Bros./Discovery/Avalanche as a technical lighting artist where I had the opportunity to help create the massively successful "Hogwarts Legacy." I'm currently working toward my second Bachelor's degree in computer science at Neumont College of Computer Science and plan on pursuing an M.S. in computer science at the University of Utah. I love every facet to CGI and some of my biggest interests currently are artificial intelligence (especially crowd simulation/flocking), shaders/look development, post processing and camera effects, C++, Python, Unreal Engine 5.3's Lumen real-time raytracing and Nanite technology, all types of FX and simulation as well as asset creation and blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.
